TRADITIONAL TERRAZZO
Terrazzo flooring became the symbol of luxury in the traditional Venetian architerture.
The history of terazzo flooring is back to the 14th century. It was original made from remained fragments of marbles and stones. The small mashed marble chips were placed in uniquepattern then sticked together in clay flooring and polished with handcraft.
There was no need for too much time and the richly decorated, unique patterns spread all over the world, and get in luxury palaces becoming valuable piece of art.
MODERN TERRAZZO
The original colours and size of the stone chips in Venetian flooring are replicated in porcelain tiles. Coordinated floors and walls feature a background with a scattering of marble-effect inserts that can be combined to great effect with the tiles in the Marvel project.
